BZ Solids Control Mud Gas Separator Working Principle

BZ Solids Control Mud Gas Separator is a special equipment for primary degassing of gas-cut drilling fluid. It is a very good mud gas separator. BZ Solids Control  Mud Gas separator is divided into two kinds according to the pressure of Normal-pressure and Self-controlled pressure.

When gas-cut occurs in the drilling fluid, its specific gravity and viscosity deviate greatly, which cannot meet the drilling requirements. Serious if not timely treatment will cause a well kick, or even a blowout accident. The combination of BZ Solids Control Mud Gas Separator and BZ Solids Control Flare Lgnition Device ensures the smooth drilling process.

Working Principle:

The gas-cut drilling fluid enters into the BZ Solids Control Mud Gas separator from the tangent of the inlet of the mud gas separator and falls on the specially designed series of inner baffles along the inner wall, colliding, increasing the exposed surface area and flowing downward, causing turbulence state and separating the gas from the drilling fluid. The free gas is discharged through the gas outlet at the tank top. The exhaust pipe length is determined and equipped by the site and led to a safe place. After degassing, the drilling fluid is discharged into the circulation tank.

Note: When the BZ Mud Gas Separator is not in use, discharged the drilling fluid in the equipment and clean it with water. It is strictly prohibited to store the mud in the BZ Mud Gas separator’s tank to prevent unable used of the mud after it becomes dry and solid.
